Seeing recent photos of my grandkids made me think about my own kids at that same 
age. Here are some comparisons:
John and Ian at one year,

Ok, has to be one of the MOST funny photos of Lydia I've ever seen. Still laughing...I think Caleb has her beat for cuteness at this stage!
This photo of Lydia shows my favorite dress on her. She still has that dress! I never liked this photo of her because her face didn't look like her at all (I thought). But when I saw this photo of Caleb, it made me think of this one of Lydia. I was surprised to see the similarities.
Well, I must say the photographer didn't do me justice! :) But yeah, I see the similarities! The same face shape and eyebrows and eyes. Interesting!
I was surprised to see how different John and Ian look at that age.
John also commented on how he thought he looked different from Ian... different eye and face shape.
Now, I have seen a little Lydia in Caleb these days. But he does have that Norvell look to him as well.
Guess it all makes sense... these kids are combos of their parents, eh?
