The dam is awesome, but I am REALLY in awe of the new bridge being constructed over the canyon downstream. And I can't imagine actually driving over it...hoowhee! Click on the photo to see my Picasa album with captions.

VEGAS!

I'm here! A full day of travel on Sunday, then a full day of travel today. I'm going to the top of the Eiffel Tower tonight, have dinner, then back to my hotel to crash. Tomorrow is Hoover Dam!

ER visit

We had an emergency vet visit this afternoon with Gunny. He was listless all last evening and today, staying in one spot, not eating or drinking. Felt of him this afternoon....hot! When hub got home at 4 we went to the vet. Gunny's temp was 105º! He has inflamed gums. They're bright red and bleeding a little. The vet diagnosed gingivitis, gave him two shots and a rx for amoxicillin. Hopefully, Gunny will feel better tomorrow. Poor kitty!

Babysitting

Going to Waco this weekend to babysit while J&K go out for their anniversary. We have a new slide to assemble for their backyard so a certain little someone can play outside this summer.

Scrapbook Retreat

Here's a few looks at my retreat this last weekend. It was SO fun! Jill and Karen joined me this time and had a ball scrapping their babies' photos. I did my cruise, my retirement party, made a little board book, and scrapped my g'kids recent photos. We got a lot done, but there's always more. One of the best things about going to retreats is seeing others' organizational tools and ideas. I always get great ideas from these which makes scrapping so much easier! Looking forward to May in Weatherford!
